Camp Fire at Night

Fire Safety &

3.5.1 When fire is detected, staff and campers will:  Evacuate the building, accounting for campers.  Alarm the camp.  Evacuate to the area where the majority of any other persons with whom you associate are generally located.  The following areas are designated as egress and accountability areas:  The area west of the tabernacle near the new public restrooms.  The pavilion near the Snack Bar.  The fields near the entrance of the campground.

3.6.2  A bell/siren for alarming the entire camp is located near the Dining Hall.  A continuous ring of this centrally located alarm indicates an emergency.

The Camp Board strongly encourages all individual camp owners to have a fire extinguisher in their camp, as the camp is not responsible for personal property damage.
