Mooers Camp Meeting is an interdenominational Family Camp that has existed for over one hundred years.

During Family Camp:
Daily services at 10:30am and 7pm

Tuesday is Missionary Day with special presentations from a visiting missionary

Daily Bible Studies and small groups gather during camp. Information is posted during camp.

We are for first and foremost, a Christian Evangelical, Bible-believing holiness camp.

CODE OF CONDUCT
The object for which this Association is formed is for the spiritual welfare of its members and the promotion of holiness.

No profanity, smoking, vaping, possession or use of illegal drugs, or drinking of alcoholic beverages is permitted on the grounds.

Fireworks, explosives, firearms, or any other dangerous weapons are not permitted during camp meeting.

No dogs are allowed on the grounds during camp meeting except for service and therapy dogs. Such dogs must wear identifying vests at all times and provide appropriate documentation to the camp Health Director. At times other than camp meeting, dogs must be leashed at all times, and waste picked up immediately and disposed of properly.

Boys are not permitted in the girl’s sleeping areas, and girls are not permitted in the boy’s sleeping areas.

All persons on the grounds are encouraged to attend the age appropriate scheduled services.

“Quiet Time” is observed from 11:00 pm – 7:00 am.

No activities by non-members will be allowed on the grounds without prior approval from the Executive Committee.

Everyone is to be discreet at all times in the display of affection on the campgrounds.

It is required that we dress appropriately and modestly. No “short” shorts, halter or tube tops, spaghetti straps, or low necklines. Men must wear shirts at all times. Shoes/sandals are required at all times.

Any case of illness, injury, or infections, which occur during camp meeting, should be reported to the Camp Health Director.

Any person responsible for damage to camp property will be charged for the repair or replacement and any labor costs involved.

Distribution of literature, solicitation of funds, advertising or selling of merchandise for any cause other than camp benefit are forbidden unless approved by the camp Board of Directors.

Mooers Camp will not be responsible in any way for damage to personal property in case of theft, damage, or loss. Members are requested to have their own insurance on their personal property.

At no time is an unregistered Youth allowed to participate in any of the Youth Program activities.

Due to possible dangers, campfires are not allowed at individual cottages. There are designated areas for campfires by the Youth Pavilion and by the Finley Camp.

Please drive slowly and carefully, observing a 10 mph speed limit. It is requested that bicyclists wear helmets as required by NY State for ages thirteen (13) and under.

Any construction must be approved by the Camp Board of Directors. It is requested that construction be kept to a minimum during camp time and not be performed during service times.

Please silence cell phones during services.

Volunteer: help is needed in several areas before, during and after camp

Attendance: we are to be on the grounds and attend as many services as possible

Statement of Purpose
The Mooers Camp Meeting Association, an interdenominational camp, exists to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and His church.
It was formed for the spiritual welfare and the promotion of holiness for its members and all those who attend.
Fire Safety &
Alarms
Information
3.5.1 When fire is detected, staff and campers will:
3.5.1.1 Evacuate the building, accounting for campers.
3.5.1.2 Alarm the camp.
3.5.3.1 Evacuate to the area where the majority of any other persons with whom you associate are generally located.
3.5.3.2 The following areas are designated as egress and accountability areas:
3.5.3.2.1 The area west of the tabernacle near the new public restrooms.
3.5.3.2.2 The pavilion near the Snack Bar.
3.5.3.2.3 The fields near the entrance of the campground.
3.6.2 A bell/siren for alarming the entire camp is located near the Dining Hall. A continuous ring of this centrally located alarm indicates an emergency.
The Camp Board strongly encourages all individual camp owners to have a fire extinguisher in their camp, as the camp is not responsible for personal property damage.
