Youth camp is all about Christ! Throughout the week, campers are challenged to take the next step in their relationship with Jesus - whether that be meeting Him for the first time or growing deeper in their walk with Him.
A typical day is packed with team activities & competitions, small group time, morning & evening sessions and worship, and many other recreation options like our all-time favorite - Burning Bridges!

Robert has been attending Mooers Camp since 2003 and has worked with the Youth Program since 2009. Mooers Camp is much more than a summer camp for Robert. It is where he first heard the gospel, became a Christian, met his wife Cala, and got married. Having grown up near Saratoga Springs, NY, Robert is half jokingly regarded as a "city boy" by his in-laws. Yet, Robert grew to appreciate the serenity of rural North Country life and moved to Ellenburg Depot, NY in 2017 where he currently resides with his wife, Cala and their dog, Sammy. Robert and Cala attend Mooers Wesleyan Church where they serve on the worship team.
Robert is passionate about facilitating spiritual transformation in the lives of young people. He believes God has called him to help make disciples and Christian leaders among today's youth. His vision for the youth program is to provide young people with a wide array of opportunities for spiritual and personal growth while emphasizing leadership and relying on the Holy scripture and spirit of God.
Outside of Mooers Camp, Robert has spent most of his professional life in childcare, youth development, and teaching while also pursuing his lifelong passion of music.
Robert is excited for the next step in his Christian Journey and would greatly appreciate your prayers for the youth program and it's attempt to meaningfully reach as many youth as possible for Christ.
